Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Announcement Third time lucky *UPDATE :D *

Post by indigosky2k on Sun Apr 18, 2010 5:26 pm

Well I'm here again Third cycle in a row I've got a BFP Not shouting it from the rooftops
exactly, but need to share

I can't bring myself to be worried,
even after the last 2 disappointments I'm currently 16 DPO and still
have 4 days to go until the CD I miscarried on last month, which was at
20DPO, but so far I've done 4 tests and each one has been stronger than
the last. I got some internet cheapies this time and am POAS every day,
some days more than once so hopefully if the HCG starts to
drop and the lines start to fade I'll notice and can prepare myself

I also told DH straight away this
time as it was really hard to tell him as I was miscarrying last month,
so he was the first one I told this time, apart from one friend who found out she was pregnant this week I was going to wait till Thursday to test,
but decided yesterday that if I was pregnant, and carried it on this
time, I'd like to remember that I got my BFP on Kacie's birthday.

So here I am hoping for third time
lucky

Tell us about yourself: I'm a SAHM to Kacie aged 10.5 months. I'm very into an AP way of life, baby-wearing, co-sleeping, breastfeeding, etc. We're coming up to one year and I'm looking for places where I won't be looked down on for extended breastfeeding. I have no intention of weaning until Kacie wants to. We're also traying to conceive baby no. 2, so really hoping to tandam feed and will be looking for support to do this too.

Well I've been testing every day and the lines are getting stronger cheers so keeping everything crossed. The cycle before last I was getting faint positives and negatives at 18DPO, which is what I am today. This morning's test was about a shade lighter than the control line, so I'm feeling almost excited. Don't think i'll relax though until at least next week Neutral

Well today was d-day, 20 DPO, the day I started bleeding on both my last cycles, and ..............

NO BLEEDING clap clap clap clap preg2 preg2 preg2
I'm still a bit nervous, but things are looking good. The tests are nice and strong though and I'm having some slight symptoms, the odd wave of nausea and dizziness and quite a strong sense of smell at times. Interestingly my symptoms have been less than the last 2 months this early on, which doesn't worry me as I was a good 7 or 8 weeks with Kacie before any strong symptoms kicked in.
DH is actually being quite happy about it, laughing and joking about having another, which if you knew my DH is quite Shocked Rolling Eyes He decided yesterday he wants it to be twins Surprised I'll be happy with a single healthy baby.
Woooooohoooooo!!!!!!! Really, really hoping this is a good sign now and I'll be a mummy again by the end of the year preg2
