Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

I have 2 locally, one is run in Llandudno, a big town 5 miles from me, and one in Colwyn Bay, a smaller town 2 miles from me.

both are really good, I went to both regularly, both were in childrens centres so it was great for Corey to play as well!

We have....ummmm... none.. Ok LLL come down here once a month. They don't accept mothers with babies over 6 months...apparently we make the other mothers "uncomfortable".

I used to go to my SS centre's BF gorup, but after weeks of leaving
upwards of 7 or 8 BF friends to go to a group where I was the only person
or there was one other I gave up. They were in the process of trying
to advertie it more, but it was just after Christmas and DD and I were
both ill so I kind of got out of going. I know given my lactavist views I
should get off my bum and go especially now she's one and my continued
BFing is going to start causing a stir

Tell us about yourself : I'm a SAHM to Kacie aged 10.5 months. I'm very into an AP way of life, baby-wearing, co-sleeping, breastfeeding, etc. We're coming up to one year and I'm looking for places where I won't be looked down on for extended breastfeeding. I have no intention of weaning until Kacie wants to. We're also traying to conceive baby no. 2, so really hoping to tandam feed and will be looking for support to do this too.

I started going to the one when corey was 6 months old and he was the oldest - it was good - the women were quite inspired!
The other didnt start up until he was turned 1, so i started going, and they were all tiny babies, and i did feel a bit 'alone' so to say, but i kept going to prove a point until we weaned at 2!
