Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

It actually prevented me from losing weight and it was only once I stopped the weight came off. My dr said some women's body's react in this way?

From most research I read a high percentage of women will loose most if not more baby weight quicker when breastfeeding than those who are FF.

But quite often will retain a few pounds which the body naturaly holds onto a reserve.

But there is still a percentage who keep all until they finish ( a smaller number ) but this could be all connected with genes and wether you can lose weight quickly or not and how your bodies metabolism kicks back in afterbirth.

Also what you eat, when and how regularly effects it hugely of course!

I just read her article in Closer - the only recent celeb mum who seems to be booby feeding, and she said she wants to feed till at least 6 months.

I think breastfeeding has prevented me gaining weight, as opposed to losing it, as i eat like an elephant!
