Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Our Easter holidays were horrible...First I came down with stomach flu, then a few hours later DH, then Tia, then my dad we had seen a few hours before I fell ill, then my mum, then my brother, then my sister who nearly ended up in hospital Sad ...the only person who escaped the horrible infliction (and it was awful, it felt like being hit by a bus) was lil miss Smile and the only difference is that she is breastfed. She's not even fully vaccinated, eats and drinks all the same things as us, was with us all the time, in all the same places and yet didn't get ill. : cheers :boob: beyond a year does provide benefits... I have been shown actual proof... it may not stop them getting coughs and colds, but it does protect against stomach flu's. Vomiting and diarrhea are one of the most common causes of death in under 2's around the world and bfing does protect against it and after this weekend I am so grateful it does. :boob: Rocks!

Ahh bless Lil' miss! Hope the rest of the folks are fully recovered!

Tiny Terror along with various other babies caught chicken pox a couple of months back. All the other babies suffered from high temps, going off food, and generally were pretty miserable, poor things :iconsad:
Apart from being rather spotty, TT wasn't a bit bothered by it. None of the other babies were bfed for anywhere near as long as he was.

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.
