Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.

So how often do you 1-2 year olds feed? DS was up alot in the wee hours of this morning but he was seriously snotty and dribbly so poor thing was thirsty - he indicated he wanted water!
He has had 3 feeds during the day plus one at bedtime, he has had cereal this morning, party food including cheese & ham pizza, and a yoghurt! Obviously not a typical day lol!
I was very proud when he kept pointing at the various foods I had laid out to indicate what he wanted!

Congratulations on 1 year! Every baby's different arent they but bethany doesnt have any during the day - she has dropped her day feeds all by herself because she is far too busy now to want mummy Laughing , apart from the occasional time mainly when shes poorly. She has a big booby feed first thing in the morning before we get out of bed.
Then she has
*breakfast - porridge and yoghurt or fruit, or egg and toast and yoghurt - something like that.
*lunch - steamed fish & veg, or fish pie, or meat and veg, or sandwich. Something like that. And some yoghurt or fruit.
*tea - same as lunch.
*supper - toast and yoghurt.
And she has snacks during the day like fruit.

Then, after her supper she has booby to get to sleep. But then still wakes 3/4 times in the night for booby. :aww:

do you no what though, i miss bethany feeding off me during the day. And i dont wanna sound cruel because obviously no mummy wants to see their baby poorly but i actually like it in a way because all she wants is mummy and booby when shes poorly :aww:
