Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Next month Emily will be 1. Now im overjoyed that we are still :boob:in fact at the moment she on there as much as a new born ! BUT im down as i feel she wont be a baby anymore. I noticed yesterday at baby & toddler club they handed out leaflets of new times for babies & didnt give me one but i got the toddler news & it made me a bit sad. Am i  or did others feel like this.

Also people keep asking what kind of party shes having, shes 1 for goodness sake I was just gonna make a cake, seems the norm now is to throw a party with banners & party bags ????? more money than sense if you ask me

Jane i feel the same - so sad that shes wont be classed as a baby anymore - they'll always be our babies though :aww:

And as for the party - nope were not having one either! But i think what we might do is take a trip to knowsley safari park - just me adam and bethany. And thats more for us than her! Laughing

Then at tea time we were gonna go to Wacky Warehouse in Wigan and close family are coming (on my side - adams family wont bother) and were just gonna have something to eat there. I'm attempting to make a Oopsy Daisy cake for it too - poor bethany Laughing

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.

Do you think its more of a mum thing? Beacuse adam is the opposite - he likes it better now because he can do more with her! He didnt like it as much when she was a newborn because she just slept and fed Laughing

I feel so much the same Sad Lil miss is coming up to one... we were walking around the supermarket today and there were so many wee ones... I kept following DH round the aisles saying "Can I have another, pleeeeeeeeeese".... lol! We also packed away all lil miss' teeny clothes, rocking chair... Sad

Its weird I don't have a baby anymore... I have two little girls... I feel very nostalgic.
