Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

default Leave her? Or take her?

Post by gem1981 on Tue Sep 23, 2008 4:30 pm

I've got to go to a meeting tomorrow night to do with my training, and I don't know whether to take Daisy or leave her with shane. She hasnt been fed from a bottle since she was about 3 weeks old and to be honest, i dont really want her to feed from a bottle. I took her when i went to my tutorial, which was also 8pm-10.30pm, and everyone commented on how good / content she was, which she was, but, i felt like i couldnt completely concentrate. The other thing is she has her third lot of jabs 2moro so she might want me. what do u think?

aww its a tough one. maybe wait till tomorrow and decide? i remember when bethany had her first injections i had to leave her for a couple of hours that night as i had to go to hospital for tests on my ovary and it made me so upset! I no its not daisy's first lot of injections but it still gets to you when have to leave them. Saying that, daisy might not be up to going out to the meetin if shes a bit off? I'd wait till tomorrow before deciding if i was you hun xxx

I just thought, she's a bit snuffly at the moment, I wouldnt say she's got a full blown cold, but shes quite snotty. Can she still have her jab?
