Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Post by Helen on Thu Feb 07, 2008 3:49 pm

bethany is 8wk 2days old and i have been using disposable breastpads since she was born. think i have tried every disposable pad on the market and my favourite is asda's own! the thing is, i was going to try out re-useable ones to try to save a bit of in the long run. just wandering what everyone thinks about re-useable ones and what are the best ones?

I didn't go through that many as i wasn't a very leaky person never have been with any......

Don't have experiance with re-usable, would there be a thing with the hygiene of them though, sure i read about it somewhere once....
I know the other girls might have more advice on them.......
I find it easier to just throw them away
