| I suppose this works a bit like BF necklaces - but its 'scientific'!
Might be good for babies that get distracted.

| I cant find them on the website, so i have emailed the lady that runs the site - there currently seems to be just t-shirts on there (maybe being made at the mo?)

There is some information about the tops on there, but I am happy to tell you more about them anyway!
At the moment there is only one top going through production, which is the wraparound top that is on the site. There are more to follow shortly, including dresses and accessories. The top itself has been designed by myself and my business partner Fatima. I am an ex-breast feeding mother, and Fatima has watched her breast feeding sisters struggle which is why we came together. Knowing the difficulty in public feeding, we wanted to design a top that would encourage mums who may otherwise not perservere. The double top covering the breast ensures leaks are not easily detected, and bf pads are invisible. The design makes it possible for a BF mum to keep her tummy hidden, as well as the breast that isn't being suckled, whilst also showing off as little of the one that is. The wraparound design means it shrinks with mum as she loses weight post birth, and the longer look helps mum look slimmer. Also the wraparound look is very flattering to mummy tummy!
The images on the bf top are for when baby isn't feeding, and generally for thr days wear. Babies enjoy being stimulated and high contrast images are researched to prove that not only does baby enjoy looking at the, but they help aid visual development which is needed for cognitive maturity. It's not as sciency as it sounds!! Just we don't realise baby can't distinguish between pastel colours so gets bored of the black and white images. It is why you may see baby looking up to the corner of a room to distinguish between the white of the ceiling and the colour of the walls, for the visual stimuli. The designs don't over stimulate, are pretty fashionable and quirky, and aid baby!
The Manic Mummy range is for the mum who looks on the lighter side of bf. We understand that BF has a negative image, but wish to get away from this by making a light hearted gesture towards how it isn't a taboo subject and can be 'sloganed' to everybody without the matrydom that CAN sometimes be misconstrued. As a bf mum I always loved giggling at the sillier things about bf, which made people around me more comfortable.
Erm I think that may be it! We are currently trying to get the highstreet stores to stock the top making it accessible to everyone, and reasonably priced, this is why there is a form to be filled out online, to help with our market research so we can show them that this is a product mums need!

I have emailed her back to find out exactly how to buy one - i didnt think the website was that easy to navigate- tho i did find a survey to fill in that entitles you to discount!
