Emmerdale!

Dont know if anyone watches it, but Nicola is breastfeeding her new baby, and doing well!
The storyline tonight was she was breastfeeding in the cafe, and it put someone off their dinner. So the owner asked her not to feed in there again - she said she should feed in the toilet or at home, and couldnt feed in the cafe again!!
So the family have all kicked off, and it has brought up the whole discussion of feeding in public, what the law says, and its really going into peoples feelings (the stuck up ones who disapprove, the passionate ones wanting to stick up for their rights, the hubby who is supportive but is a little worried about his wife getting her boobs out in public).
When it 1st started, i was like, WTF are they doing? but its actually highlighted it quite well lol! not sure where the story line is going, but interesting non the less!!

dont actually watch it but it sounds like theeyre covering the issue well - thats got to be a first!!! might actually watch to see where it goes, when is it on?

Its on weeknights 7 - 7.30, and theres an omnibus over the weekend i think x

Haha! she is making protest stands tonight and feeding in the cafe and refusing to move! She has now moved onto the pub!

there are still mixed reactions to it, but i guess that is a true reflection of real life

This is brilliant! Don't watch Emmerdale (not a soap fan) but it's about time someone ran a storyline like this!

nope, she is still breastfeeding!
She made her stand in the cafe and pub, and the owner of the cafe came round to her way of thinking!
she proudly feeds in public, tho hubby is still a bit unsure of her getting her boobies out in public.

Thats great, must be the first time in a soap someone has bfed more than a couple of episodes. Did whatser name in eastenders bfeed long? I saw a tiny bit on Harry hill that looked like she was, someone couldn't get her a bottle of bubbly as she was bfeeding.

I dont watch eastenders, but this one in Emmerdale is about 3 months i think - very big and alert!
